I just came upon your website. It’s interesting!
Sue Hussing
This is a beautiful site. I only regret that your Huesing line seems to be separate from mine.
I have John T. Huesing b. 1835 in Germany, John Herman Huesing b.1863 in Hanover, Henry George Huesing b. 1899 in Cincinnati. The story I have is that John Herman came to Cincinnati in the 1880s. He may have come with his sister or brought her over later. He brought his father over later, after his mother had died.
Any suggestions you have would be welcome.
Thanks, Claire Moores
I am a decendent of Edward Francis Husing and would love to add to your list!
I am part of your Husing line.. my mother was Clara Elenoar Husing from Rockport, MO. There are a lot of Husing descendants still there.. have some photos and interesting letters from Nora Husing Singer begging for food after WWII.
Let me know… I am still digging thru your info.

I think Clara Elenore Husing may have been my former husband’s Grandmother. Was she married to Christian O Burckel?? At this time I have nothing to add, but my children and I have been interested in family history so every now and then I try to look for info.
Two years ago I found a site that I can no longer find…it had the name of Christine as one to reply to. I believe Christine Gallant was that person??? At that time I sent the birth and death dates for Ted Husing to her/you?? The site name might have had “Arboretum” in it.
